State police at Frackville are investigating the reported theft of over $11,000 worth of tools and metal from a site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said representatives of Henkels and McCoy Inc., of Blue Bell, Montgomery County, reported that property the firm rents in the area of 599 Morea Road in Mahanoy Township, was entered when someone cut the lock off of a metal gate. Forced entry was made into three storage buildings and the storage lockers of two bucket trucks.

Total value of the items taken was set at $11,250. The theft occurred sometime between March 15 and 16.

Police are also investigating a report of tires slashed on two cars belonging to a 28-year-old woman in the 700 block of Main Street, Zion Grove. The incident occurred sometime between March 15 and 16.
